Equipment:
4 Kool Fruits lollies in different colours
A cup of water
a square bowl.
Method:
Then we put one lolly in each corner of the bowl.
Next we put one cup of water over the lollies, make sure the lollies stay in their corners. Next we waited to see what would happen.
Results:
The lollies began to dissolve and the colour from the lollies made perfect squares but the colours did not cross.
Kia ora Pod 6, my name is Becks and I do some work with the teachers of your school. I think this experiment looks awesome! I love how the dye from the lollies makes perfect squares! I wonder what stops the colours from mixing? This experiment reminds me of one you do with skittles, you might like to have a go at it too! (Here is a link to a youtube clip of it - http://bit.ly/2bup0wC) Thanks for all your awesome sharing. I look forward to seeing what else you do!
ReplyDeleteFantastic work Pod 6. I have also done this experiment but with M&M's. The colours did mix in my experiment though.
