WALT: Begin our narrative with a verb.
I know I am successful when:
I have used a verb to begin my sentence.
Flying through the sky like a butterfly Lesley was on an adventure. Through the trees she could see everything from above. Singing a song "Old Mac Donald had a farm E-I-E-O" and all of the girls started to sing along too. But Lesley didn't know dangerous animals heard them from below. They were mad because they were woken up by the screeching noise that they made. They started to get closer and closer to the animals sharp teeth. Suddenly a strong gust of wind came and swept Lesley and the singing girls back up into the sky where they were safe.

Hi Jack, what an awesome story! I really like how you have achieved your WALT by starting with a verb. Your narrative is very imaginative, I really like how you described the girls singing as screeching!

Thanks Ashleigh, it was hard to come up with a verb at the start but then it got easier.
